The Sales Highlights is the section you see at the top of your screen. It will house your major KPIs, including: Dollar Sales, Units, Point of Distribution (POD), Stores Selling, Units/Store Selling, and Opportunity Gap.

You can adjust the time period. It will default to showing you the most recent 12 weeks and this option is in the upper right:

Dollars is the total sales in dollars for the time period selected. Below it, you can see the percentage of growth or loss, indicated by green and red, respectively, and a +/-. In this example, we see a growth of 45.5%. This metric is compared against the same time period in the previous year.

Units will show the number of individual units sold for the time period selected. The growth will be depicted below it in the same way as it is for Dollars. This metric is compared against the same time period in the previous year.

POD or Point of Distribution on the Overview page is the total number of items sold at all retailers for the selected period of the time. This metric is compared against the prior adjacent period.

Stores Selling will tell you the total number of stores selling the brands products for the selected period of time. This metric is compared against the prior adjacent period.

Units/Stores Selling takes that math and shows you the average number of units sold per store. This metric is compared against the prior adjacent period.

The Opportunity Gap calculates the how much you could be making if all items selling were made available for sale at ever store. This would be you selling at maximum capacity. This metric is compared against the prior adjacent period.

The last important aspect of the Sales Highlights are the data release dates:

This will let you know when the most recent data push into your Signals system was.
